Sonic Passenger Menus Spring 2022

Challenge — Sonic Drive-In’s passenger menus are refreshed twice a year. With this project leading into the summer season, the challenge was to lean into the excitement of warm months, and promote evergreen products at the Drive-in.
Concept — Leaning into the car culture at Sonic, our creative team was inspired by vintage brightly colored cars and eating outside during the summer with friends.
The chosen concept was heavily inspired by the photographer Jonpaul Douglass, whose photos are showcased above.
From initial sketch to final photography, there is a clear through-line between all three passenger menus. Something remarkable about this project is how lifestyle leaning these are, with real cars and talent — which was all new for a Sonic Drive-In photoshoot.
